Ridgeline Contracting LLC is a licensed Oregon residential contractor based in Gladstone, working on glass: broken and cracked window panes, fogged-up insulated units, shower enclosures, door and patio glass, mirrors, tabletops and screens.
Glass is an unusual trade in that almost nothing is bought off a shelf. Every unit is cut to a measurement taken in your opening, which is why a field measure comes before a firm price, and why a quote given over the phone is a ballpark and gets called one.
The work here is glazier's work done to the code that governs it. Oregon follows the International Residential Code for safety glazing, which requires tempered or laminated glass in specific hazardous locations — in and beside doors, around tubs and showers, low to the floor, and at stairs and landings. Putting ordinary annealed glass in one of those spots is cheaper and it is also the thing that puts someone in an emergency room. Where code calls for safety glass, safety glass is what goes in.
